About the Artist

“I have chosen photography as the medium in which to work. Photography has facilitated the opportunity for me as an artist, to capture patterns and shapes and to use these images to create. From an early age I was drawn to shapes that were created by light and shadow. Ordinary, commonplace objects are my subject matter. These ordinary objects offer a rich basis from which to start the creative process. Working within the abstract genre affords me unlimited freedom to express myself. Along with photography and in light of today’s rapid, ever-changing world of technology I have embraced the computer as a viable source of creating artwork. My hope is to continue to be excited and challenged in my work for many years to come.”
